A few days ago I received an email from mycashcloner and decided to follow a link through to a new advertising program. I have been an affiliate of mycashcloner for quite some time and I have always felt the products, mainly marketing resources, they put in front of their members to market were useful and easy to promote.

When I arrived at primerealadstate.com, I realized it was brand new as very few members had visited yet but something sparked my interest. Even though I see that there are some bugs and growing pains while the product is still in the development stage there is something that appealed to me about this system as an Internet marketer right from the start.

As a Traffic Master promise I do not post my resources until I test and prove them for myself. I bought a piece of prime real estate, you will see my Web 2.0 Trends banner in a penthouse suite on the home page. Over the past three days almost 40 clicks of what I consider to be highly targeted traffic from that banner

Although my blog is mainly about free resourcing I will pay for traffic if it is highly targeted and proves to have good conversion rates. I understand that there are different types and quality of traffic.

For example I use Google Adwords as this is generally search engine/related website traffic that rewards me with targeted traffic. The average cost of a Google Adwords Click Through is between .12 and .35, or course I could pay more but I like to maintain a reasonable budget.

Now if we compare these stats to my banner click through rate on Prime Real Estate you will see that in a little less than three days I have had appx 40 clicks. So as the day is not through yet lets say an estimated amount of traffic of 15 clicks per day.

The cost of the Prime Real Adstate Penthouse Suite was $9.95 for 15 days. This is the highest price Real Adstate I could purchase, the costs of the adspace lowers as the you progress down the building levels to the basement. 9.95 divided over 15 days equals 67 cents per day. So my click through cost is somewhere around 4 cents per click through. That to me is well worth the banner ad space! Somehow I am thinking that this site is going to become much busier in the days to come as I am seeing quite a few new members every time I log in.

We don't get a commission from the people we refer that advertise as there doesn't seem to be any profit sharing set in place. We do however get advertising credits and a percentage of the credits earn by referred members. I will explain this in more detail later.

You do not have to purchase real estate to become a member and although they have a membership upgrade you do not have to upgrade your membership either although I do recommend it. You can partake in and benefit from the Prime Real Adstate resources free of charge.

Now aside from just the banner space on the front page, there are tools within the pages that I see as being highly valuable as a marketer.

For instance, I went through each link in my profile and filled in all possible data to do with promoting my website. I then took some time to do a little surfing (about 30 sites and 10 seconds each) on their manual traffic exchange. I then allocated my credits.

• I am seeing my classified ad on other members pages
  
• I am seeing my ad in e-mail sent out to new members.
• I am seeing my website on the traffic exchanges.
• I am seeing that there has been a lot of planning and insight put into this hub
• I am seeing my banner in rotation

I am seeing my stats on my new www.trafficmaster.info increase in number along with my advertising revenue the site generates.

I am giving it the Traffic Master Seal of Approval to Prime Real Adstate.

If you are an on-line marketer you have most likely heard the buzz about Squidoo Lenses in the past year or so. Squidoo lenses are a relatively new Web 2.0 platform for people to share their expertise in different fields.

A page created in Squidoo is known as a 'lens' in Squidoospeak. The concept of the lens in to 'focus' in on your niche target audience. When you create a lens, or several lenses you become a lensmaster.

Lensmasters are encouraged to produced multiple lenses to maximize profits and exposure. Creating the average lense take appx. 10 minutes. So creating 100 lenses in a few months time is really a piece of cake.

The more lenses you have the more exposure and traffic you get, not to mention the more cash you earn.

There is no reason why should not have a lens for every affiliate link, business venture, marketing ideas, or any topic of interest that you may have.

Not only does Squidoo bring you targeted quality traffic and exposure but Squidoo lenses are get ranked! I am sure you have noticed by now that when you search specific items on the internet that there is at least one Squidoo page listed on the first page if not the top position.

If you would like to try this out. Type in the following search term into the Google search box above..."SaleSpider". Sales Spider is an on-line business social group I belong to. I have created a Squidoo page to get the word out (and also I get $1 per member I sign up). You will see my Squidoo lens currently at position number #5 on the first page. Want to try it again? Type in "the Tubeinator". Look at that! Position #1. Again? "Making a perfect cup of coffee" Again...First Page. Well I think you get my point.


When you create a Squidoo lens, it's like having a team of SEO experts working for you for free. The html code that ranks your page is automatically created. You don't have to worry about Meta tags, Key Words, Key Word Density. All you have to do is fill in the blanks, Squidoo's emedded SEO system takes care of the rest. Pretty cool.

So how do you create a Squidoo lens?

It's just so easy. The best way to learn is to just jump right it!

Go to this address Squidoo.com. This will take you to the home page. You just follow through each page step by step. In 10 minutes you can have your first lens.

My suggestion is to pick appx. 10 niche topics and create a squidoo lens for each one. When you find out which ones are getting rankings and traffic narrow them down. In the end pick your favorite of the most popular and start creating as many pages as you can to do with this topic. If you can create a few pages everyday...less than one hour per day...you can create a nice income just from using Squidoo alone.

Income?

Yes! Not only does Squidoo offer you traffic and ranking to your URLs, build up your reputation but it is an excellent source of income!

When you create and publish your first Squidoo lens you enter the Squidoo co-op. The co-op shares 50% of Squidoo total revenue from Adsense and other sources.

You will notice when you create your lens you are given 'modules' to promote other products from Amazon, Cafe Press, Netflix, and more. Everytime someone clicks on these links and purchases through your lens you earn more revenue!

Want more income? If you have an e-bay store they offer a module to automatically place your current e-bay auctions.

Want more income? Find related products from Affiliate programs and include banners, pictures, and links to your affiliate ads. Personally I use shareasale.com and commision junction to find my affiliate products.

The Secret is in the list.

As professional on-line marketers we hear this "Secret is in the List" over and over again. We know we need an opt-in list. Many of us have everything to set to go, the autoresponder and even the opt-in pages but the list building goes very slowly for most of us.

You will be amazed at how easily and quickly you can establish yourself as an expert in your field using Squidoo. Simply divide up your knowledge of what you already understand into as many categories (or lenses) as you possibly can.

Offer informed, fresh, relevant, interesting and concise information and in return you will see how fast your reputation and ranking will increase (your goal is to make a top 100 lens and ultimately a lens of the day).

To build a list either place a link to your opt-in page or offer your opt-in code right on your lenses. You now have a receptive audience that respects and trusts you at your fingertips. They are there waiting eager to here what you have to say and ready for your recommendations.


Also be sure to fill in your Bio Section. A Bio Section is looked at by most members that read your lens so be sure to take some time in putting this info together. Without sounding pompous be sure to put information together in a way that will help you to establish yourself as an expert in your field therefore gaining trust and reputation with your readers. If you establish that you have something to say then people will listen on the other hand if you leave this field blank you are basically saying you are 'nobody' worth listening to.

Upon Completion of your first lens:

Most likely you will look back on the 10 - 20 minutes it took for you to put together your initial creation and think "How easy was that?" That is the charm of the Squidoo lens. The ease and speed of creation. You will soon be on your way to creating another and then another until you have completely exhausted your niche. The results? Well that is the most addicting part! Traffic to your existing business, recognition in your field, a following, a list, and multiple new streams of income.

Some lenses will catch hold in time, others will be like traffic magnets. The only way to find out is to test and try and try again. Like digging for oil. Some wells are dry while others give moderate results, in the end all it takes is to find the well that spews forth in abundance. If the first well you create does not live up to your expectations keep drilling it is just a matter of time.

Insiders Secret! Strategies to make the most of your Squidoo Lens:

Once you have created a few different lenses go through them all (I personally set up a bookmarks folder containing each of my lenses so I can open them up across my Firefox browser in tabs). Choose which lens you feel the best about.

The goal now is to get your lens ranked. The higher your ranking the more you will be establishing your credibility in your particular field and the more you will be turned to as a reliable resource, thus establishing reputation and trust. If you get the gist of squidoo page ranking you may even break into the coveted top 100.

Using he Web 2.0 Modules in the most strategic and effective ways help you achieve ranking. The Web 2.0 modules are the ones that enable you to interact with your visitors. On a regular website these particular modules can be difficult to set up and employ but with Squidoo it is a piece of cake!

Everyday Squidoo chooses a "Lens of the Day". To get chosen for the lens of the day choose your favorite lens be sure it is not blatant advertising and submit it to the review team.

If you lens is chosen you we be featured and your lens will be mailed out to all Squidoo members. You will get some pretty amazing traffic and exposure if you manage to submit a winning lens.

My suggestion is to go through previous winners. Make notes on what you like about their lens. Examine how they use their modules and display their content.

Everyone is an expert

Everyone is an expert at something. Lensemasters create single page blogs they call lenses. The concept being that if 100 lenses are created on the same subject the cream will naturally rise to the top using squidoos ranking system. This optimally being the freshest, most useful, most popular lenses. On the other hand the junk lenses will set at the bottom.

Free Directory Submitter.

The first marketing step I would suggest for ANY website is to submit it to the top 400 Link Directories.

Submitting to directories my not be the best method to get traffic to your website but what it will do is create incoming links otherwise known as backlinks.

Search Engines start in these places and find your website through the links you place in them creating a 'foundation' other links will build upon.

Without any exceptions I have submitted all of the numerous websites I have built throughout my on-line marketing career. It is a necessary step we all should take first thing after registering our domain and creating our site regardless of the traffic returns. We are not doing this for traffic we are doing this for Search Engine Optimization, otherwise known as SEO.

When looking for a product, service, home business, widget maker or whatever info offered on the internet, the first place people will go to look for that info is the Search Engines. It is the most commonly used, most targeted, and the most powerful source of traffic. Next to e-mail, search engines are the number #1 starting point for all interaction on the internet.

Getting your pages ranked is the most important thing you will ever do. It is a tedious, time consuming process but it must be done. The longer you wait, the more chance your internet business is going to end up out of the first 100 pages on Google, Yahoo, and other search engines.

If you follow all my processes for getting traffic and your link out there you should do much better than the first 100 pages. Hopefully much of your exposure would be in first 10 pages if not on the first page for niche specific material.

If you are a promoting an MLM or Affiliate company through an URL redirect there is not any reason you should not be on the first pages using the Traffic Master System.

I am not trying to brag here. I am just trying to give you incentive to follow my lead so you can achieve the same results for your own business. The proof is in the pudding. Success attracts success. If someone is doing something that is working chances are they may just know what they are doing.

Starting with the directories is the first step. I would love to tell you that was the last step and it was as easy as that but of course it is not. If it were that easy then everyone would just do that and we would all be at square one again.

It is a combination of all my systems that will determine the success of your on-line business.

Some of my systems generate instant traffic, lots of it. Others generate very targeted traffic with high conversion rates. While the main function of others, Directory Submission included, is to get you up there in the search engine ranked prominently where you will get the highest quantity, quality,targeted and highest conversion traffic available on the internet outside of word-of-mouth.

You will never be able to submit to all the link directories out there so instead what you want to do is to submit to the directories that have the highest Alexa page ranking. Even with this weeding out process you will still find the number of submissions you will be making for each site will be between 400 and 500. In other words, this is not a quick task. It is tedious, boring and time consuming.

Thankfully I have a link to some free software to help you through this process. Without software to keep you up to date on the top sites and to help you auto-fill your content, you could start today and you would still be posting to these sites months from now.

At one time the cost for this software was quite substantial, developers know what people need and they know when they can get away with charging top bucks for it.

My views on Groups Marketing ie. Yahoo Groups, Google Groups, MSN Groups.

I have been using groups as part of my own promotional campaigns since the very beginning of my on-line marketing career three years ago. I had stopped once just because of how time consuming they can be and I really did notice a difference in my stats so I resumed using them.

Although Groups will bring you great reliable traffic be careful with these.

Only post in related Groups and do not spam any board. You do not want to work so hard to build up your promotion only to have it shut down due to spam reports. Companies have very strict policies on spam and will not hesitate to shut down an affiliate Url that is getting spam reports. Before joining a new group I spend some time looking over the group to see what type of posts are currently being posted. I carefully read over the description of the groups and check out the 'about this group' link to be sure these groups are free for everyone to post and what the restrictions are, if any.

I personally promote to more than 600 affiliate advertising safe groups about 4 or 5 times a week. I do receive traffic to my websites from these posts but what these groups do best is to help create 'backlinks'. Backlinks are simply links from other place directed to your website. What do back links do exactly? They improve your search engine ranking this is also known as Search Engine Optimization SEO. These links also get individually spidered by the search engines and your ad will show up when and if someone is doing research on a company or just looking for info in general.

Hint: Play around with popular keyword search items. The words scam, review, success, fraud, new, lucrative, profitable are highly searched words. I suggest you try to work this into the information of your ads. People are online looking to see if thier program they are signing up for is legit. So they might type something like..."Is E4L.biz a scam?"as their search criteria. You are covered. If you question if this actually works. Google E4L.biz into your web browser now and you will see how many of my adverts are on the first 5 pages. If you google E4L.biz and Scam you will see I have many of the listing on the first page titled "E4L.biz 100% scam free" , my group postings being in the number 2 position. There are 60000 members in this company!

Hint 2: Word your ad into an article. This is an example of a Subject heading that will get indexed and searched, "Are MLM on-line companies legit or Just Scam Pyramid Schemes". In fact if you type that into your browser you will see my ads! In the end I write about how to distinguish between a legit business and a scam and give an example...the example of course is the company I promote.

Of course I have been intrigued by Group Submitters for quite some time now as you can imagine posting to groups can be very time consuming especially when you are mass posting which is most effective.

I have payed for and tried a couple that have produced very poor results. I don't believe in using trackers with Groups because of the SEO value that groups hold but I did send out a few days worth of posting to these submitters just to test the results. My results? A big zero! I did searches fr my tracking URL which should show up in the search engines within a week. Nothing. My obvious conclusion? They weren't working.

In fact the only positive review I have found on any Group Mailer was from a company called GroupMailers. Apparantly this company sends out ads from their server but you have to join each group and post with your user name. Somehow this makes sense to me. The cost of Groups Mailer is $15 every month.

Hello? This is Spam Calling... is There Anybody Home?

Yes! Yes! I am here.

Of course we all know that 95% of spam isn't really spam as we somehow somewhere inadvertently signed up for something, gave our e-mail address to get that fabulous free thing, or wanted to get inside information only available if we gave our precious personal info and now we are part of the list. The secret is in the list and as hard as we try to collect we find ourselves at weak moments being the ones who are collected.

Well you know what? It's okay.

There is a way we can use this so called not-spam spam to our advantage. Think about these messages this way. A salesperson comes to your door selling "Fuller Brushes" but he does not realize that he has knocked on the door of the "Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner" salesperson and he will soon be leaving with a vacuum in tow. Perhaps now he will be selling, along with his excellent brushes, excellent vacuum cleaners.

Yes. These non-spam spam messages are basically like people knocking on your door wanting to buy from you. They are already marketing. They are our target audience! They know the language and they are working the biz. If you have a great promotion that makes money they 'want' to know about it. Bottom line is ...we are all here to make money.

So the next time you see these so called 'spam' messages be sure to take a look at the e-mail address sending it. Is this a real user, a mass mailer or phishing site? If it is a real user re-package that spam add your promotion and send it right back! Be sure to add their e-mail address to your mailing list as well. Keep the original message with the IP and timestamp as proof of your future non-spam. I generally create a folder labeled 'mailing list' to direct these to just in case of future accusation.

Tell them how much you love their brushes and you will definitely consider them but in the meantime be sure they leave with a brochure on vacuum cleaners.

Oh yes and even if you have all this info in order to be 100% non spam accusable you must comply to the CAN-SPAM act...http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/canspam.shtm

I am not condoning spam. Sending unsolicited e-mail without permission is a federal offence.

I am condoning list building. Which is gathering a list of people with their permission to share in your marketing experiences, newsletters and endeavors.

Always be sure to add all the proper info to our mailers and always give an opt-out resource and comply to it! The secret is in the list! So guys go forth and build....and when that e-mail comes knocking at your door welcome it with open arms full of what you have to offer!

Today I am going to let you in on a Traffic Master little secret.

You will get more traffic from your P.S. line that you will from your main advertisment.

When sending out to your lists be sure to add a P.S. at the end of your advert. In fact your advert does not have to be an advert at all in fact it could just be a tip or some advice. I have tested this over and over with an ad tracking system and my P.S. lines always get about 400% more click-throughs than my main ads.

In fact why not add two or three P.S. lines? Don't forget you can put P.S. lines on the end of classifieds, group and forum posts as well.

Patting myself on the back!

Okay I did it once again. I got my affiliate promotion ranked above the actual site promotion in Google. I love it when this happens.

One of my affiliate endeavors is a YouTube popularity software called "the Tubeinator".

Type "the tubeinator" into Google search engine. My squidoo page is ranked #2 position while the Tubeinator site remains at number #3!

Adam Beazley has the number one position...with his Traffic Blog entry. Have I mentioned anything before about blogging and and creating a Traffic Blog? : )

I am not sure how long this will last but I have been doing some experimenting with Squidoo lenses (lenses are what they call their pages) as I see them all over Google.

Well I have come to the obvious conclusion that Squidoo works! This lense has been up on squidoo for less than a week. Look forward to my next Web 2.0 blog article on "How to Squidoo". Another Traffic Master Web 2.0 solution for getting traffic, ranking and making money all at the same time!

A search engine is basically just software hosted by a site that provides a list of 'documents' or 'pages' in response to a keyword query.

Businesses, researchers and consumers use the search engines for a variety of reasons. Search engines like Yahoo and Google are used for an all encompassing general search but more often surfers are looking for a search that is more specific to their unique needs.

Search Engines that cater to a specific 'niche' are not new. Websites that help people to find what they are looking for specifically, whether it is to look for shops, to find people, or resource businesses have been around for years. In the past few years however there has been a steep increase in the number and popularity of these 'niche' search sites.

Enter the 'Vertical Search Engine'. A vertical search engine is basically a destination or a 'Portal' site. Vertical Search Engines offer to businesses and enthusiasts what the big players can only deliver with complex keyword combinations. That is relevant and essential content versus millions of sites results filled with vague information.

So to answer the question, "Will Google Search be challenged by this rapid 'Vertical' growth?" The answer is Yes, it is quite likely when it comes to specialized 'niche' areas Google and other broad-based search engine sites such as Yahoo and MSN will feel the competition. Their user base will continue to be chipped away by the increasingly popular targeted vertical search engines.

What Specifically is the difference between a 'Vertical Search Engine' and a 'Broad-Based Search Engine'?

A broad-based search engine sends out 'web crawlers' better known as 'spiders' to fetch a very large number of documents. A program called an indexer then reads these documents and creates a search index based upon the text contained in each site specifically. All search engines have their own set of criteria or more technically an algorithm to create indexes of the categories of the keywords found in the text. This way in a perfect world only ideal meaningful specific results would be returned.

Whereas vertical search engines only 'spider' a very refined database. There indexes then contain only information relating to a specific topic which will reach a highly targeted and focused audience. Examples of businesses that use vertical search engines are real estate, medical, employment, tourism, and corporate purchasing.

How are vertical search engines competition?

The broad-based search engines rapidly are getting broader and broader by the millions. This has become a frustration for those of us looking for specific targeted information. We are forced to do multiple searches with unique keyword combinations to get the information we are looking for. Often it takes several searches and having to research many pages deep for the pertinent info we seek. A Microsoft study revealed that an average user will spend 11 minutes on a typical search.

On the other hand a vertical search engine offers quality and specific information on a specialized topic. They target local, professional, and social groups of information.

Here is a quick example. You are a fisherman looking for gear. When using a vertical search engine you submit the word 'rods', you will be getting specific information on 'fishing rods'. Curtain rods, lightening rods, hot rods, and Rod the sexy plumber will not come in your search. Can you see how this can save a lot of time and aggravation?

Who does the vertical search engine market cater to?

The vertical search engine market generally caters to someone looking to target a niche audience. When a consumer enters a vertical search engine they are looking for something very specific and generally are at the brink of the seek, find and buy mode. Search engines have been proved to be the most popular form of finding what you want on the Internet. The growing number of businesses advertising on the net gives even the most savvy of search engine optimizers a run for their money.

This is where hitting a vertical search engine market would help you to get a leg up on your competition. There may be fewer people using the vertical search engines but all the people there are a targeted audience looking precisely for what you are offering or something related to it. A business that may otherwise have been lost 20 pages deep in Google now can have a first or second page appearance. In fact a vertical search engine will drive traffic to their portals by buying Keywords on Google and other broad based search engines. One less and often expensive step for the businesses listing on their site.

The Essential Traffic Blog - Everyone 'Must' have One!

The web is impersonal. That is a problem! That problem can be overcome.

There are two things that can overcome this, one is your welcome letter which we will get to later in the blog, the other is your own personal Traffic Blog.

You will find me referring to the setting up your own blog thing quite often through-out my blog and in my newsletter. If I am actually am in contact you because you are in my team, you have heard this question, "Have you Set up Your own Blog Yet?" and you will keep hearing it until you finally do it! If you are a member of my team I know you are nodding your head and laughing right now because I stress this as being one of the most important things you will ever do on the internet.

Why am I so insistant? It's important. This is your first connection to your team to show them that you are organized and professional and you know what you are doing and how to do it and you are wanting to share this! This is you branding 'you'. Sales people do not sell products, they sell themselves.

A blog is permanent and you as you grow as an on-line marketer your blog will grow with you. It is a reflection of you and your knowledge and your personality and your view points and it makes you Personal! You are no longer an advertisement and a username. You are now a person, an associate, a team leader, a coach and a friend and this will be mirrored throughout your blog.

I feel the creation of the Traffic Master actually defines the moment in my own on-line career when I went from being a hack marketer to being an on-line marketing professional. When people join into my endeavors and are wanting advice the first thing I tell them, write a traffic blog and get into the social groups. The two go hand in hand in developing an on-line identity. How can we represent a business when we have not even taken the steps to represent ourselves. We are selling ourselves, our business follows natrually.

Don't fill your blog full of fluff and filler unless this is how you see yourself... are you full of fluff and filler? Do you walk around carrying around shiny blinky distracting signs? Do you dress in all colors of the rainbow? Represent this blog as you would represent yourself at a professional business meeting or an interview. You are the expert. You do not show up in a clown suit...not unless of course you are in fact applying for the clown job.

As you go through each post in my blog feel free to add a page to your own blog and make it your own with your own links to the resources. It can be as in depth or as simple as your like. Don't worry if it seems a little rough at first. You have a lifetime to smooth out the wrinkles. Be sure to print off a copy of your first blog and store it away. It is nice keepsake for you to keep to view as you progress as you go along. If you are like me you will be revising and updating and tweaking your blog on a regular basis. In a couple years you will impress yourself by just how far you have come! Even if you think you are pretty good now!

Step by Step:

1. Open Blogger in a new tab. (left click - new tab)
2. Set up a blog criteria. Name, Title, Topic, Colors all that fun stuff
3. Write your first post. Explaining why setting up a traffic blog is so important or whatever advice or traffic secrets you would like to talk about.
4. Blogs are in chronological order you have to keep in mind how you date your articles. If you want to keep a flow in your posts or leave room to insert post you may want to date them with some space in between. Personally I started out doing that but in the end just started posting randomly. My newsletter is however in the proper order!
5. Submit this Blog to BlogSearchEngine.com note: your submission goes through a moderator so you will not be able to post instantly. Just save your post (once) and check back in a day. It should be listed.Write down your passwords. You will need them to edit your blog.
6. Continue posting and complete your blog or simply set up a few pages every day.

I will go over how to use Blogging directories, RSS feeds, Social Bookmarking, Pinging and other methods of blog promotion in the future. For now we are just covering the basics.

EBay Launches U.S. Site for Classifieds , AP via North County Times (July 8)

EBay's classified site, covers 220 cities in 50 states. "Topics include "apartments for rent," "lost and found," "pet adoption" and "garage sales." It also includes personals sites such as "missing you," "just friends" and "activity partners.""

EBay also operates the international classifieds site - Kijiji - where sellers from over 24 countries post.

Interestingly, eBay also owns 25% of Craigslist, a key competitor to the new services.

Blog Comments - I don't mean blog spamming!

How Blog comments can create traffic and back links.

Similar Forum Marketing, making comments on other people’s Blogs is a a very good way to increase inbound links and at the same time network in your niche.

The first thing you will need to do is to locate other blogs that are on your niche topic. Sound difficult? It's not. It's a piece of cake!

3 links that will take you straight your target audience.

Go to your bookmarks folder and and create a folder and name it Niche Blog Sites.
Once you find some blogs that are on your topic bookmark them to this folder.
Now all you have to do is every once in a while go to this folder, left click and select 'open in tabs'.
It is time to peruse the blogs.

What you don't want to do is to spam the blog! You will only succeed in annoying others and getting you comment deleted and the blog owner may even go so far as to ban your IP address.

What you are looking for is to read over the new blog posts and look for the following comment criteria...

1. Can I add a comment that will enhance the post that was just written, offering similar and valuable information?

2. Is there a question in the blog I can answer?

3. Can I offer my opinion on the subject without coming across as arrogant.

4. Is there an intelligent question I can ask about the bloggers post?

5. Try to offer advice and tips, and only sell your site when it is in a direct answer to someones question.

Generally I just sign my first name with my promo URL underneath like a signature line in an unoffensive manner.

You are not going to get a flood of traffic from just one blog comment and there are not always ideal posts out there for you to comment to in an unoffensive manner. That is why I suggest to find between 20 to 30 blogs in your niche. Open them all in tabs a couple times a week and scan and post to them only when it is most appropriate. Keep your list fresh. Delete from your bookmarks the blogs that are not getting updated and add fresh blogs every time you come across them!

Blog commenting in the long term will get you some very targetted steady traffic and also get your comments and links spidered (looked up and indexed) by the search engines.

Have You Drawn a Map to the Sun?

Do you know where where your sun is? Then it is time to start drawing a map.

Forget signing up 10 new members every day you are better to sign up 10 a week!

It's true. You can sign up 1000 members that forget about you in 2.3 seconds time and they are off to sign up for the next best free thing or you can sign up a couple people a day and coach them to be quality team members.

Do not regard your new team members as a name and an e-mail on your list. Regard them as your personal team. People that through what ever media have placed their faith and trust in you. These are real people out there with real lives, people with families and dreams just like you. They are not just a name on your list. When you begin to realize this you will start to see doors fly open for you.

These people for one minute while they made the choice to repsond to your advert placed a piece their future in your hands, take that responsibility and honor it.

The members you keeping in touch with everyday and the members you organize to attend regular meetings via conference software are the members that are going to be your foundation.

Are you a team leader? Then lead. What if we had an army where we just recruited but never trained and never gave them the right tools and then we just sent them all off to war and said good luck! How long do you think they would last?

Have you trained your team? Have you even contacted your members even once? Do you have mailing list sset up for each and every on-line business you promote? If you don't I'm sorry but your army is not going to last long out there. It is a competive world and you have not supplied them with training or tools. You are better to have 10 members that last for life than 1000 members that will dissappear in a week.

Corral your marketing strategies. Gather up all your prize ads. Put together a list of all your resources and how to use them. Write stories people can relate to about success, dreams, and achieving goals. Gather them up and put them in a blog and refer every single new member to your blog. Then contact every new member and go through each and every step with them. Share thier excitement as they start find thier own members and set a good examaple as a team leader on how they should respect and help their own teams.


It makes me happy to know I am helping so many people out there from all over the world to realize their own potential and teach them how to become successful on-line businesspeople. Many of whom may never have had this opportunity in their regular lives. Many who are just sick and tired of their full time jobs and who want something of their own they can build and work on and get out of what they put in.

I always say outside of the lottery and the stock market there is no such thing as a "Get Rich Quick" business. I put a lot of hours every week into communication and building and learning. Every single day I work at my on-line business, which I love to do. I am passionate about becoming my own boss and making my own rules and helping others to realize this is possible. Everyday I see my reputation and my success rate rise. Everyday I am closer to my sun.

Although the internet has been around for years it is still in its infancy stage and we are in the dawning of the "Information Age" and as with the dawning of any new age, opportunity runs rampant.

The time and effort I put in today will be rewarded with days in the sun for years to come!

Where is 'your' sun? Is it on a boat? In the mountains? On a rooftop patio? On a beach? In the backyard with your family? Without your team the amount of days you spend in your sun may be limited. Are you willing to take the journey to your sun?

What the heck is Web 2.0?

If settting your business up on-line was not confusing enough now the new buzz phrase is Web 2.0.

"If you are not Web 2.0 compliant you may as well just give up!"


Sounds a little intimidating doesn't it? Well it's not. It's Easy.


So what does Web 2.0 actually mean? Is it just mumble jumble fancy packaging or is it in fact a new trend a new age in web surfing as we know it?

Well it is in fact a new trend. At one point surfing the web meant searching for information. We left the publishing up to the big guys. To have presense on the web you needed to know how to put up a web page. The line between publisher and viewer was a lot more distinct.

So if I had to sum up the definition of Web 2.0 in one word that word would be, simply, 'Interactivity'.

Hello. My name is Julie Zbeetnoff. How they are doing? Nice weather today don't you agree? Can I buy you a coffee? (on-line it would be offer you help or an e-book),and then casually ask them if they have ever heard about your fabulous product before?

What do you think they would do? They would probably be an attentive audience!

Well we can't ignore it any longer can we? The buzz words are flying around the internet and the vibe is definitely a 'Social' one!

Social Networking, Social Bookmarking, Social Groups, Social Clubs,
Social Gaming the Web 2.0 has gone social.

Social interactivity is the changing the face of the internet as we know it with communities springing up with the sole pupose of meeting others and networking in a "social" environment whether it is to make friends, find activity partners, or find fellow blue herring fanatics or whatever your fancies.

Many companies will actually show you how to set up MySpace 'trains' to promote, I personally am totally against this. I have been a member of MySpace from the get go and this is where I tell all my friends to go to hang out and meet me. This is not a place I want to be bombarded with ads for 'a free i-pod' or incessantly told I must 'fill out surveys and earn thousands of

What exactly is a Social Business Network?

Its basically a network where like minded business people can associate in a non-volatile on-line environment friendly to self promotion.

How do I make a Social Network Work?

Developing relationships within the network is the key to success here. Some people try out these network spam every single member that agrees to be added as an associate and then they wonder why they don't get results. The trick is introduction, the reading and commenting on profiles and bios, the offer of help or the sharing of knowledge. Then through signiture lines and casual mention you offer your product.

Create a personal profile. Make it personal. Introduce yourself as if you were talking to a new member at your Yogo (or whatever) club. Remember? Hi! How are you? My name is Julie...Nice to meet you? I've been marketing on-line for... I found out about the Club through...my background is...Have you heard of my Promotion? I chose to promote this type of business because...My goals are...My inspirations are...

Step two to Operation Personality RE:-Design:

Connect, connect, connect. Rememeber again...the etiquette. Actually view the persons profile before responding. Mention what they have said. Comment on what they are promoting, where they are from anything! The concept is so simple I could almost stop here.

Step three to Operation Personality RE:-Design:

These networks also allow for interactivity in forums and Q&A sections. I recommend participating as often as possible in these interactive sections in order to gain positive references and to further expand your network. Again do not be pushy add, share your knowledge, give input, ask questions, you might actually learn something while you're at it. Invite these people you are 'communicating' with to view your profile.

Step four to Operation Personality RE:-Design:

The soft sell. Keep in touch with members that accept your offers to connect and especially to those who return your messages. Sign you messages with your name and the Url of you business. Ask the other members if they have yet viewed your profile? Ask for opinions? Offer help! Often you can exchange free sign-ups with another member to help with each others downlines not to mention traffic sharing downlines you can help each other out with!

Yes Social Networks are here to stay, you can make them work for you if you know how to work them.

In the end the final verdict is they have become the top source of highly targetted traffic. Ask any successful marketer and the SBN's will be in their top three for promoting.

The Big Hello! How to write a Welcome letter that gets feedback.

As soon as you get your sign-ups. You always send out a welcome letter. Avoid run on sentences and break things up into paragraphs as much as you can. Try to keep it as short as you possibly can but still get all the important criteria in.

Keep the word friendly in your mind at all time. Not bossy, not arrogant, not boring...friendly.

The main goal of this letter is to develop Rapport. So you want a reaction. You want to get them to write you back.

6 steps to writing an effective Welcome letter.

Step One to Writing an Effective Welcome Letter:

You send them a message and in the subject line you give them a big. Hello!

Step Two to Writing an Effective Welcome Letter:

Let them know who you are and your purpose.

I am your direct sponsor for (company name). I am here for you. Anything you need. Any question you have. I would love to help!

Step Three to Writing an Effective Welcome Letter:

Next tell them about you. Are your a family person? Are you a Student? You don't have to get too personal here just an overview.

Here is an example:

It's nice to meet you...My name is Julie. I currently live in Ontario Canada but have traveled and spent time all around the globe. I have worked as a graphic artist and web designer for the past 15 years. More recently I am establishing myself as a professional on-line marketing consultant.

Step Four to Writing an Effective Welcome Letter:
Time to welcome them and tell them why you love the company so much. Here is where your enthusiasm will pourith forth.

Welcome aboard.

I have been with (your company). I feel it is truly a great opportunity because(tell them why). The thing I like most is the fact (insert what you like most). I originally signed up because (insert why you signed up). I am now so glad I did because(tell them of our success so far).

Step Five to Writing an Effective Welcome Letter:
It's time to start asking questions. This is the part that will get them to return you e-mail. Once you get them to do this., you have them. You have got them on the hook ready to reel in and be an amazing team member and future team leader.

1. What is it about (company name) that attracted you to sign up? - This will get them to start talking in a positive nature about the business right from the start.
   
2. What is your marketing experience and where are you currently advertising? - This will set the mark at how much experience they have and how much training and guidance they will need. Often you sign people up that are more experienced than you and you actually can learn from them.
   
3. What is your on-line business experience? - It lets them talk about what they have been involved with. People love to talk about themselves and their on-line business to anyone who will listen.
   

Word these questions in a conversational way. You don't want to sound like you are interigating.

Example:
By the way when you signed up for E4L was there anything that stood out that you really liked? What was your motivation to become a member?

Do you have any previous marketing experience and if so where do you currently advertise? Have you worked with a company similar to E4L before?

Last Step to Writing an Effective Welcome Letter:

Taking the First Steps to Affiliate Success

Not only that but many of these are sources of perpetual traffic, meaning the longer you are involved and the more people you introduce to the same free sources the more traffic they will perpetuate. Just a tiny preview to what I will reveal to you in step 10.

I have this blog divided into separate tasks. Give yourself time to pay special attention to each category. Anybody who tells you that you can just blast your ad to a million people in 5 seconds and you will be successful isn't being straight with you. If that were true then it would be the breakdown of society as we know it. If you really think about it wouldn't we just all join every program and just spend 5 minutes blasting an ad make thousands of dollars and move on to the next. I know we all wish it were that easy, but unfortunately this isn't a lottery, it is a business.

Marketing takes time, planning and strategy. Take your time, follow every step. They all work together in the end. You are setting up the foundation for all your future marketing endeavors.
This blog will become your portal to success with all your resources ready to go at your fingertips whenever you need them.

Please try to stick to the task at hand and try not to get too side tracked by the many resources that I will be putting before you. However you are encouraged to come back often to utilize and keep up to date all the info I have put before you.

Also I would love feedback and suggestions. If you have an effective marketing tool that is free or at least has a free trial I would love to know. I will test drive it to see if it works and if successful more than happy to share.

What is a traffic exchange?

A traffic exchange website receives website submissions from webmasters that join traffic exchange networks. The person who submitted the website then has to browse other member sites on the exchange program to earn credits, which enable their sites to be viewed by other members through the surf system. This increases the number of visitors to all the sites involved.

Exchanges enforce a certain credit ratio, which illustrates the amount of websites the surfer must view in order to receive one hit through the program for their promoted website. Many sites offer the ability to upgrade one's membership level for a more equal credit ratio.

As the viewers are all website owners or affiliates, it is possible that some might find certain member sites interesting and thus make note of them on their own sites, sending more traffic their way. Most traffic programs also impose a time limit when members are browsing, ranging from 10 seconds to 60 seconds. Some incorporate the use of captcha to ensure user interaction.

Almost all traffic exchange programs are free, although many of them offer special features to paid members and offer credits for purchase. Almost all traffic exchange programs encourage users to build their own referral networks, which in turn increases the referrers' amount of credits.

The traffic generated in a traffic exchange can be leveraged by using a downline builder to assist the user in building a referral network in the many different traffic exchanges.

Yes but you have to know exactly how to work them.

Warning: Do not use traffic exchanges with a page including Google Ads. You will not receive your revenues.

How To Use a Traffic Exchange

Sign up for at appx 7 -15 different exchanges. Open each exchanges surf in your browser in tabs. So you will have 7 - 15 tabs across the top of your browser.

The number of exchanges should be determined by the speed of your internet connection.

Go from tab to tab across your browser and click on the 'next ' link. By the time you get back to the first exchange your time will be elapsed. Efficient!

Traffic exchanges work most effectively if you use either a splash page or a lead generating page.

The attention span of the surfer is very limited so something clean simple and catchy is the best way to go. The potential customer wants to get back to surfing so if you can get their name and e-mail in a lead page it will only take less than a minute of their time. If you do not like working with autoresponders then a Splash page is the way to go. Consider it like a 'billboard' for your advertising.

Although these will bring you great reliable traffic be careful with these. Only post in related Groups and do not spam any board. You do not want to work so hard to build up your promotion only to have it shut down due to spam reports. Companies have very strict policies on spam and will not hesitate to shut down an affiliate Url that is getting spam reports.

I personally promote to more than 200 affiliate advertising safe groups about 4 or 5 times a week. I do receive traffic to my websites from these posts but what these groups do best is to help create 'backlinks'. Backlinks are simply links from other place directed to your website. What do back links do exactly? They improve your search engine ranking this is also known as Search Engine Optimization SEO. These links also get individually spidered by the search engines and your ad will show up when and if someone is doing research on a company or just looking for info in general.

Hint: Work the words scam, review, success, information in your ads. These are top keywords. People are online looking to see if thier program they are signing up for is legit. So they might type something like..."Is E4L.biz a scam?"as their search criteria. You are covered. If you question if this actually works. Google E4L.biz into your web browser now and you will see how many of my adverts are on the first 5 pages. If you google E4L.biz and Scam you will see I have most of the listing on the first page! There are 60000 members in this company!

Hint 2: Word your ad into an article. For example title the name of your ad Are MLM on-line companies legit or Just Scam Pyramid Schemes. In fact if you type that into your browser you will see my ads! In the end I write about how to distinguish between a legit business and a scam and give an exampe...the example of course is the company I promote.

Bonus: I have RSS feeds coming into this site from the first group on each list. Everytime you post to these groups you will show and be indexed on the search engines not only from the group but also from the thetrafficmaster.blogspot. So you are advertising in two places with the effort of posting in one. You can see these postings to the right on the side bar.

Yahoo Groups safe for MLM and Affiliate posting.

1. Open each of these groups in new tabs.
2. Sign up for each one, be sure to check no e-mail or your e-mail account will get flooded beyond belief!
3. Post your advert to each site.

While all these links are open, go to the Post link on each group. Do not post yet...first go to your bookmarks and select 'bookmark all tabs'. Now you simply have to open the folder in tabs and you will have all the post pages displayed on your browser page ready for posting. To go from tab to tab the short cut is the "Ctrl and Tab" key at the same time.

I know there are many more Yahoo groups suitable for posting to but this is just a sample to get you started. When you subscribe to my traffic newsletter I will give you my complete list which is updated on a regular basis as well as sample keyword efficient ads that get spidered and ranked in the top pages. You can also find you own groups and keep adding them to that bookmarks folder. Be very careful they are ad posting friendly! You will get accused and possibly even charged with spam or have your ISP connection shut down if you post in a non-friendly group.


Google Groups Safe for safe for MLM and Affiliate posting.

1. Open up each group in new tab.
2. Join each group.
3. Submit posting to each group. I cycle through the tabs and copy/paste the title for each one.Go back and cut and paste the body. Then cycle through one last time to submit.

The higher traffic sites can be posted to every day. The medium and lower sites once or twice a week. Use your discretion. Usually if I go to post and see that my last ad is still on the first page I will skip the group.

Craigslist.org seems to frown upon affiliates and MLM's and your ads will probably get deleted.
However if the ad is tasteful it will take a few hours before flagged and removed. Eventually CL will just log your IP and you will not be able to make any more posts. Some people get denied access to the site completely. I am not going to condone posting to CL but we all know it's there.

Backpage. Good for job type postings if you are looking for people to join a sales team, be sure to check the terms and conditions to be sure you are not in violation.
